Introduction to Earthbag Construction
“Earthbags is a sustainable construction technique. Developed by the architect Nader Khalili. This technique is resistant to earthquakes, insects, and fires. it also offers an excellent thermic resistance, a good acoustic insulation, and a low-cost/sustainable option.”
This training center for the “earthbag” is divided into four options. This allows anyone interested to choose between an introductory course on the theory and a hands-on approach to these constructions. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to sleep in the earthbag structures we built for our project.
4 Options:
- 1 day of theory + 1 night in our accommodation
- 3 days of theoretical and practical training + 2 nights in our accommodation
- 6 days of theoretical and practical training + 5 nights in our accommodation
- Consulting and project monitoring over 3-4 weeks
We need to know in advance if someone wants to accompany the participant of the training without attending the workshops and just enjoy the location. An additional amount may be requested.
